The Minnesota Medical Association has endorsed Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. to provide an Identity Theft protection plan and a Family Legal Service plan to MMA members, their families and their employees.

No one expects identity theft to happen to them, but it affects millions of people in the United States each year. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime worldwide and presents a potential risk to everyone. The Identity Theft Shield program provides an individual credit report for each member at the start of the program, 24/7 monitoring of the activity on your financial accounts, social security number, medical coverage and drivers license. In the event of the theft of your identity, the program provides a unique restoration plan with licensed investigators working with you to restore your identity.

The Family Legal Service plan is to your attorney fees what your major medical insurance is to your hospital and doctor bills. The plan provides you with access to experienced attorneys who can provide counsel on everyday legal matters, will preparation, contract review, motor vehicle legal services, trial defense services, IRS audit legal services, and discounted rates on other legal services.
