MMA, MHA part ways on sick tax
MINNEAPOLIS, May 5, 2009 - MMA President Noel Peterson, M.D., reiterated the MMA’s opposition to a sick tax hike after the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) came out in favor of a 1 percent increase in the tax in order to prevent cuts to hospital payments.
