The Committee on Communications provides direct input from physicians to the communications department and utilizes MMA members who are enthusiastic and will support the communication effort.

Committee members integrate communications activities with other MMA committees that have communications responsibilities, while ensuring all communications efforts coordinate with overall MMA objectives.

The Committee on Communications meets approximately four times per year.
